Traveller - DNA Based Roadmap
A journey from its roots to its future
Every person is a traveler – on the trail of time, genes and memories…
Our DNA whispers with the voice of our ancestors: “Where did you come from, who do you resemble, who are you becoming?”
We bring together science and emotion; we rebuild the bridge between our roots and our future.
Our path extends not only across geographies – it also extends across generations.
There is a story hidden in every melody, in every DNA chain.
“The Passenger” reminds us both of who we are and who we continue to be.
DNA tests not only provide important scientific data in the medical field, but also allow us to understand our own story and determine our path accordingly.
The “Passenger” project brings the past in our genes to the path of today – knowing where we come from, to understand where we are going…
Our Source of Inspiration
Neşet Ertaş's folk song, "A Journey Coming from a Mother to the World," written in Germany in 1978, during a period of inner loneliness while living abroad like the rest of us, and performed on his album Gönül Dağı in 1979, speaks of human mortality, separation from one's roots, and the search for one's own essence. This folk song inspired our "Journeyman" project—because, in the silent traces of DNA, we, too, hearken back to the journey of our ancestors; we rediscover that ancient story, stretching from the past to the future, in the light of modern science.
“A traveler born from a mother…”
There's a secret carried from our roots to the present day—hidden in our genes, sometimes heard in folk songs, sometimes reflected in behaviors and emotions. It makes us who we are. The memory these genes carry is also imprinted within us. Migration, pain, grief, perhaps, perhaps the memory of a past deeply rooted in a single geography for centuries. Perhaps this is the difference between someone who quickly adapts to a foreign country and you, who won't be able to adapt even after a century. On this journey, we search for ourselves; we are about to understand where we came from and discover where we are going.
“We are always travelers – that’s how we come and go.”
The world is an inn, life is a road.
Our DNA is the silent memory of our ancestors; we are the steps of that voice today. So what do they tell us?
Could the answers to questions you haven't been able to find answers to until now be hidden in this secret?
“Is the world your homeland or your homeland?”
Where is a person's true homeland, their true homeland? To which geography, which culture do they belong? What foods, what forms of entertainment, what pain are they accustomed to? As we search for the answer, we turn to science – the DNA map illuminates our roots, while our hearts whisper the direction.
The road is long, but now we have a compass.
